Influenced heavily by The Ramones, Rolling Stones, The Stooges, and The Clash. The band was started by singer/song writer/guitar player Echo Romeo. Growing up in Birmingham... The Dead Romeo's are an alternatave/blues/punk rock band from Birmingham. Influenced heavily by The Ramones, Rolling Stones, The Stooges, and The Clash. The band was started by singer/song writer/guitar player Echo Romeo. Growing up in Birmingham helped Echo to live and learn the blues. Hanging out in every juke joint from New Orleans to Memphis also helped in influencing his guitar style.
   As a kid Echo was hit, like a brick to his head, by Punk rock. Officially only lasting 100 days punk greatly changed Echo and made him want to start a band,hince "The Dead Romeo's" were born. Being that to purist "Punk was dead" the name worked well.
   Needing a drummer and bass player Echo checked out every band in Birmingham and Atlanta until he found the 2 guys that shared his vision. Buster Cherry on bass and Mike Huntz on drums.(Sorry real names are saved to protect the innocent)
